philippo Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 Hi! For around 2 weeks now it became nearly impossible to add an article, because it takes so long. I've already searched the english and german forum, but I couldn't find anything useful. I try to describe what exactly is the problem: I fill in the fields on the "add article" page, the I click on preview. This goes still very fast, even if I upload 3 images. If I click on "Add article" then, it takes so long! Another strange thing is, that the IE is not reporting a timeout! So there must be some data flowing around or so. It's just about adding or deleting an article, the rest still goes quite fast! I've activated logging, the parsing seems not to be the problem as well. If I look at the catalog during that time however, the article is already added (deleted)! THIS STARTS TO PISS ME OFF! I've installed the following contribs: - German Bank Transfer 1.0 - Guestbook_for_OSC_v2_2_en_fr_ge_incl_BTS_addon - 3 Pics - WYSIWYG f?r Textareas - featured_products_v1.5.6 - oscommerce_stylesheets - European Bank Transfer 1.9 - autologin108 - newsletter_products - Remove Prices and buy now and add to cart if price = 0.00.txt I've installed autologin and newsletter_products within the last 2 weeks, but I don't see any connection between these contribs and my problem. The shop cannot yet go live (BECAUSE OF THAT), I've added only around 200 articles in 7 categories. I would be very thankful for any help! Philipp
