clooney Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 i was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. i looked through the contrabutions but couldnt really find anything, better yet, i didnt really know what i was looking for. i need a table instead of the product. i will have a picture of the "sweater" and below it have a box that lets you pick the color of the sweater you want and the size. once you do that it will add the color and size to your cart. heres an example i made i dont know, anything like that will work.

You can put anything in the form of html into the product descrtiption. that will solve your table issues but I have no idea how to implement a form that fill transfer your color and size selections to the shopping cart. I thought this stuff was gonna be easy!! BACK IT UP BEFORE YOU JACK IT UP!!!!

Guest Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 It would just be simpler to do the colors and sizes in the attributes section of your admin. Yes, it won't have the pretty colors and such. However, I believe I've read somewhere here that you can change attribute listing from a drop down menu style to a radio/checkbox style. Also, this allows you to name each attribute a code. For example, using the jacket in your example in this thread. Let's give it a model number of J-Hood. In your attributes, when you set up the individual color names, you can also give each one it's own code. Such as Red 01, Yellow 02, Green 03, etc. So, it comes out on the Invoice J-Hood Red 01. This is just a simplified example. It all depends on how detailed you want your model numbers to be and all that...just letting you know the option is feasible. And to show off the colors of the items, in the product description section, just create a little table that shows that colors in table cells.
