checkpout_shipping.php in endless loop

Not sure when it happened (more than likely yesterday during customising using contribs maybe??) but my checkout process is now in an endless loop at the shipping details page during the checkout procedure. It won't proceed to the checkout_payment.php page. I couldn't find a post on this searching the forum.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK - using the DB in another test store showed it wasn't originating from there.

 

I decided the error must lie in the catalogue\includes\modules area somewhere but I was not sure exactly what part, so I uploaded a fresh copy of the entire catalogue\includes\modules folder content to the server and the loop is now gone and store operating properly again.

 

Just FYI as I know this has happened to others.
