We cannot find the right code to change in our index.php file. Can anyone else suggest where to find the proper code to shut off? Thanks Mike

clooney Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 yes, he is correct, my "newb" begins to show. i took out the whats new thing myself. i cant remeber how i did it, but if thats the line you need to take out. look in you footer.php also. i can vaguely remember it was near the bottom.

That would be comment out (or remove) this line <?php include(DIR_WS_MODULES . FILENAME_NEW_PRODUCTS); ?> It's in catalog/index.php twice, once for the front page and once for the category pages. darksidevermont, clooney may be on to something about the footer.php file...that seems possible. What kind of template is it?? The answer is so easy to find when we have all of the info.
