Easy populate simple question

so I am a bit dense but were do I find or were is directory called catalog/temp, step 5 in easy populate setup. I do not have a file called catalog, do I create it? in what parrent and then create a page called temp?

The catalog directory is mentioned in many contributions as a point of reference. It may not exist in your shop. It is used to represent the root of your shop. So find where your home page (index.php) is located at and create a directory named temp there. If your shop is in the root (not in a sub-directory), then change the Easy Populate file to /root/. Otherwise, change it to /sub directory name/temp/.
