I have now installed the site and the majority looks ok. But I get this error at the top :

 

 

Warning: Unexpected character in input: '\' (ASCII=92) state=1 in

C:\xammp\xampp\htdocs\catalog\includes\functions\sessions.php on line 97

 

The code on line 97 of this file is :

 

return session_start();

 

When I comment this out, it creates an error on line 104. Has anyone had this problem before?

 

I also have another error on the bottom of the page. But that one can wait til later :-"

This appears to be something to do with a missing /tmp folder? And mentions lots of things about sessions.
