Guest Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Ok, so I just started out my OSCommerce site, at www.racebredengineering.com/catalog, well been working on it for 3 days, getting everything set up, adding new items, pics, the works. I worked on it earlier today, went to work, came back, and the folder is gone from my server, so OSCommerce is gone from my site. What the hell!? Does stuff like that just dissapear sometimes? Was I hacked or something? My host only backs up on Sundays, and I hadn't backed up this week, so I can't recover, but I wanna find out what happened, any ideas? Thank you for your help Eric
Guest Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Ouch! I feel for you. Contact your host just in case and always back up regularly. Maybe they have it, maybe not. Nightly backup is common for hosts. Are these guys really cheap? Maybe look at a better host. Even good hosting is pretty cheap these days.
