Guest Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 As everyone has heard, that USPS is changing thier API webpage address for USPS web tools inquiries. From what I understand, since this only affects ceartain listed API webtools, it does not affect the OSCommerce web inquiry just to get a shipping quote for customer checkout. So no change is needed. Is this true? Just imagine how many webpages shipping calculater would not work in Septemember if we do not make sure this change does not affect OSCommerce. Quote

This change affects everyone that uses the API Will someone please advise on the change to make to the "USPS Methods" contrib so that it calls the secure HTTPS url rather than the old HTTP url PLEASE UPDATE THE USPS METHODS contrib!!! Guest Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 I talked to USPS about this change. They stated if you are only using the USPS API module to get the shipping quotes on the shipping checkout area on OSCommerce, then it will NOT affect anything. Quote
