abra123cadabra Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Hi Dapper, I had a quick look through your shop and there are a few things that most new e-shopowners forget: What is your business address? You give a phone number, alright but to build up customer trust you have to give a bit more information. I'm not sure but I think you are even legally obliged to do that. Why should I do business with you rather than with the "company" that puts their PC repair offers through my letterbox? Your product descriptions are too unstructured. I checked http://www.all-systemsgo.co.uk/catalog/pro...84b5850f506e9cf You started changing the look of your shop, maybe go a step further and replace the stock buttons? Other than that, to me it looks as if you deliberately limit the amount of potential customers to those that "live in the surrounding areas". You could ship your hardware components throughout the country and offer repairs etc. only locally. You'll have to put a lot of energy in promoting your shop against your competitors. Start working on your SEO and build backlinks. Good luck! abra The First Law of E-Commerce: If the user can't find the product, the user can't buy the product. Feedback and suggestions on my shop welcome. Note: My advice is based on my own experience or on something I read in these forums. No guarantee it'll work for you! Make sure that you always BACKUP the database and the files you are going to change so that you can rollback to a working version if things go wrong.
