Adding costs to shipping for quantity?

I have a 3 flat rate shipping costs for 3 different areas:

 

UK - Free

Europe - ?3.95

Rest of the World - ?4.95

 

And everything works fine. But I need to add additional costs to each zone if a certain quantity is purchased.

 

So for instance:

 

UK | 1-3 items - Free | 4-7 items - ?1.95 | 8-10 items - ?2.95 |

Europe | 1-3 items - ?3.95 | 4-7 items - ?4.95 | 8-10 items - ?5.95 |

Rest of the World | 1-3 items - ?4.95 | 4-7 items - ?5.95 | 8-10 items - ?6.95 |

 

Is it possible to implement this somehow?

Easiest way would be to use a weight table - set all your products to a weight of 1 and set the rates accordingly.

Could that be intergrated on top of my existing system that specifies shipping costs depending where people live?

If you have the different areas set as Zones in Admin, then have a look at:

They let you set up different shipping rates by weight to each zone
