MYSQL Bogging Down

It appears that MYSQL is bogging down on the server where an oscommerce store is at. The errors in the log relate to the visitors table.

 

I have turned off logging of visitors/user tracking, but the visitor tables is still receiving entries everytime the website is hit.

 

How can I stop the visitor tracking from writing to MYSQL?
