silverstah Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 After a little futzing around, I was able to get it to install on my server. I started playing around in the admin section, and went to look at the website... and it won't come up - it defaults back to the install page! So when I type in this: http://www.greycatdesigns.com/catalog It redirects me to this: http://www.greycatdesigns.com/catalog/install/index.php Thoughts?
Wendy James Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 First, I would suggest removing or renaming your install directory. People can totally mess with your site if they have access to it. Second, if it still will not load correctly once that is removed/changed, I would download the catalog/includes/configure.php file and edit the file manually with the correct information. If you are not sure what the info should be you can look at the one in your catalog/admin/includes/ folder. Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. I now get this error message: Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'nobody@localhost' (Using password: NO) in /home/greycatd/public_html/catalog/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server!

Never mind - I fixed the catalog/includes/configure.php file like you said. Thanks for the tip! :)
bobg7 Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 I get the default osCommerce index page, try clearing your cache, shutdown and restart your browser. Installed Contributions: CCGV, Close Popup, Dynamic Meta Tags, Easy Populate, Froogle Data Feeder, Google Position, Infobox Header Entire Row, Live Support for OSC, PayPal Seal with CC images, Report_m Sales, Shop by Price Revised, SQL Updater, Who's Online Enhancement, Footer, GNA EP Assistant and still going.
Wendy James Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Glad you got it working! : ) Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
