Lower shipping rate for multiple product order

Hi, I have a shipping problem I can't figure out. I ship some things that require refrigeration. If a customer only orders one bottle, that's fine because I think I can use the Individual Product Shipping Prices. But I want to offer the customer the ability to buy more than one refrigerated product, but use the same package to ship all of their products. So I don't want the extra charge for the individual product applied if there are multiple products with the extra charge in the order.

 

Any thoughts as to how I would accomplish this?

I also have this problem. We are going to use the weight catergory to assign a price to an item. However if the user orders multiple products from us we want to charge the highest weight price and then ?1 per item after that. This sounds like the same kind of problem that you want to solve. If anyone knows of any module out there that has been written that will handle this that would be excellent.
