shellbeachsilver Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Hello Everyone! :D Im brand new to os commerce and I have set up my store somewhat. I keep getting the same error on my page. "Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file." So I went back and I reset the configure.php to 777 permissions through my FTP transfer (FlashFXP) and it still did not get rid of the error. How can I fix this? Thank you in advance, Shelby Visit: Http://www.shellbeachsilver.com/catalog/
scootd Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 There are 2 configure.php files. catalog/admin/includes/configure.php catalog/includes/configure.php These need to be set to 444 (read only) after you have finished editing them. Once set to 444 you will not see the error message.
