If i wish to test my commerce site, but do not wish people to find it and "buy" something how would i do this? Shall i just put a password on the directory. 2. Im thinking about using Secpay as my gateway for the cart as it's cheap. Do i have to get in internet merchant account? Does anyone have any experience with this to know the rough pice of this? Thankyou.

Thankyou. If you download xampp from apache friends you can host your site on your computer. Once you have got it working the way you like you can then upload it to your web-host.
