credit card number needed....

Basically I have a vitrual terminal with my bank, so I can enter the cc number manually with their details ( thisi s with HSBC as I have given up with the straight up integration)

So under my oscommer admin bits, payment modules I have 'credit card' which I have installed, and it comes up on the site - but when I test it - it does not work, I have not got ssl certificates - so do I need them to make it work>? or is it something else?

And once I have this thing workign, where will the number be 'stored' so I can use it to manually enter it to the terminal?

thanks for reply, looksl iek exactly what I need, how hard / easy is it to setu p - i.e do I get a module and put it in the folder then install? (I know sweet fa about this - so any tips/info would be gr8 - reading through the site can't see na installation bit..)

is it not allowed to mention epath - hence the guy who replied to my thread has had his post deleted - whats tso bad about them - got me worried about dealign with themm...help!
