eastarusa Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 My website is down and I got this warning message: Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /home/cruiserb/public_html/includes/functions/database.php on line 22 Unable to connect to database server! This happened several times since last month and everytime I simply restore the backup database. Can someone tell me what could cause this problem and how can I fix it? My last backup file is on May 30th, and is there any way that I can recover a more recent database than this one? Thank you.
spax Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 This is a server limitation. Basically, when busy, it can't handle all the connections at once. If it is a free host, you need to pay for a better hosting account. If you are paying for it, it doesn't look good.
