Your feedback, thoughts and any help would be much appreciated. My site is Thermaltech.co.uk Mods used Basic design pack Ultimate SEO by Chemo Ultimate HTC Paypal IPN Whos online enhancement Im still just tweaking the product descriptions at the moment (no idea why the main tag isnt being applied to the tables) so there are a few niggles to iron out but I think it's at an almost ready to go live stage (i could be wrong hence the post here :) ) Things still to do before going "live" in no real order... Change "buy now buttons" css styles Change "lets see what we have here" into something meaningfull Main logo of the website Sort out currency to make site UK only (at present) Remove "xx requests since" stuff Update mainpage :D Move shopping cart status into header Add in stock status to product listing page Define styles for product listing standardisation Change CSS background for Headings Increase Category size headings Used mods so far:- basic_design_pack1mk7 | Google XML sitemap w admin | Paypal IPN v 1.2 | Feedmachine | pricematch_1_3_1 | Dynamic Sitemap 1.6 | Whos online Enhancement | Easypopulate 2.72 Each one that I solve I;ll be putting a post on the forum in a "completed shop" thread that Im writing up Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
♥bruyndoncx Posted June 26, 2006 Share Posted June 26, 2006 Here's little input: 1) you have Top and Catalog in breadcrumb, you only need one it seems 2) I personally can't read the white font on the light grey background in the headings 3) the colored info box headings are slowly loading on my system (broadband from belgium) and while they are loading, they show an ugly (standard) clashing imo background color 4) Dynamic sitemap has some funny entries like %s reviews some sprintf function missing ? also overall it appears a git too dynamic and list a bunch of urls that shouldn't be listed Hope this helps, Carine BTW, I like your signature, think I'm gonna adapt mine to keep on reminding me to fix things :D KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON I do not use the responsive bootstrap version since i coded my responsive version earlier, but i have bought every 28d of code package to support burts effort and keep this forum alive (albeit more like on life support). If you have a lnk to help that would be appreciated. 2. Nor can I. I left the updated stylesheet at work so I will change that tomorrow or try a diff color. 3. The background is actually a css image. Before that image loads it does put in a CSS color instead. I'll change that to something different so that whilst things are waiting to load it wont look as bad 4. I noticed that. I think that reviews isnt showing funny because there are no reviews so might be missing a variable? Not sure how you control how things are listed with the dynamic site map addon but I'll ask. In the footer you have 'site map' followed by a '|' which looks a bit misplaced as there is nothing following it. Generally pretty stock with a bit of styling, but looks and seems to function fine.
