New install, Stuck during setup.. need help

While installing template 10988, I encounter this error...

 

osCommerce Configuration

 

A test connection made to the database was NOT successful.

 

The error message returned is:

 

Table 'db169002657.configuration' doesn't exist

I have successfully installed the oscommerce 2.2 version from the download section of www.oscommerce.com

 

I removed it from my server and tried to installed my purchased template but will cannot complete due to error...
