I have builded several websites, but I still have a big question... "how does the child borns?" I set up this e-commerce in my space linked to SQL ...everithing is workes fine, BUT, I just can't understand when somebody PAYING with CREDIT CARD, how the money comes into my bank account? how, how, how??? I would be very happy for any link regarding this issue, or a short explanation should be very helpfull. So I have my website, I place products, people pay with credit card... and then? how the money comes into my bank account... is it working automatically, or how? Do I need to go to the bank and set a business account , or just enough a bank account? I am totally confused... Please explain to me... Many Thanx. Josh

Josh You either need to use PayPal or look for a merchant provider that does the credit card transactions for you and deposits the money (minus fees) into your checking account :) Check out PayPal, or google "merchant account".
jasonabc Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 You need a payment gateway (such as Authorize.net) to process the actual card. The gateway is plugged into your online merchant account, which is also (if you have one) linked to your ordinary merchant account. You can also use a service like PayPal (as the previous post said) which will process the card and deposit the funds in your account.
