Design controls in OsCommerce

Hello,

We have an oscommerce site up and running on http://www.dvdwinkel.nl. The problem is that this shop was designed by a collegue of mine who was fired a couple of weeks ago. I'm now trying to understand the basics of oscommerce by creating a brand new oscommerce website and implement the Pixame Theme which is used (in modified form) on our current webpage. After a couple of days of searching a Frenchman provided me with the Pixame_V1 theme so that's not the problem. In our current admin of oscommerce, I have an option "Design controls" and "Template Admin". In this option, I can select a theme from a dropdown box. I was wondering how I can implement this function in my brand new oscommerce version of which contribution I should use.

Thanks in advance and sorry for the bad English,

Brand new installation of osC (clean install) you would have to add the contibution (cut & paste) the code and any files provided for the contrib.

Here is where you start to shop for your (free) contribs...

http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions

define('PROJECTS', 'Something that goes on forever!');

That's clear to me. I installed a clean version of oscommerce but I was wondering which contribution to use to get the results I described above. I'm afraid it's maybe an old contrib and It's not downloadable any more. Does anyone have a any idea which contrib to use?

in your admin footer does it say cre loaded perhaps?

No longer giving free advice. Please place deposit in meter slot provided.  Individual: [=] SME: [==] Corporation: [===]
If deposit does not fit one of the slots provided then you are asking too much! :P

Is your Osc dated try Phoenix  raising oscommerce from the ashes.

Hello,

My problem is this. I have a webshop up and running on http://www.dvdwinkel.nl/ but I wan't to install a new one on my local machine and then create an exact copy of the live site by starting from scratch. We have a template system in the live version but when I installed a brand new version, the option "Design controls" is not present. I also see a database table named "template" in my live version but not in the brand new installation. Can anyone explain how I can implement this in osC.

have you added the link and filename in the admin area?

Regards
