Error running osc for the first time

I get the following error when I try to hit the index.php page in oSC.

 

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

 

When I check the server log, I notice this error.

 

[Fri Jun 23 12:15:46 2006] [error] [client 202.156.6.3] File does not exist: /home/xenesis/public_html/500.shtml

[Fri Jun 23 12:15:46 2006] [error] [client 202.156.6.3] Premature end of script headers: /home/xenesis/public_html/catalog/index.php

 

 

I don't know what can cause this as I had install osc serveral time and this is the first I am seeing this. Please help
