Temporary filename: /tmp/phpmnN27D User filename: sample_output_file.txt Size: 80290 Warning: file(/hsphere/local/home/tconcept/tconcept.no/shop/EP_TEMP_DIRsample_output_file.txt): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hsphere/local/home/tconcept/tconcept.no/shop/admin/easypopulate.php on line 719 I can't figure out whats wrong.... pls help me.. choosealogin Posted June 21, 2006 Share Posted June 21, 2006 (edited) Before you go further, I should have just asked - what version of EP are you using? I think you are using a version of easy populate that would have included an SQL file, probably named update.sql That contents of that sql file needs to be loaded into your database , i.e. copy/paste the contents of the update.sql file into the "sql" window in Phpmyadmin, usually accessible via the control panel that your host provides. But before you do that, please go back to the easy populate contribution download page and read the description of the version you're using ...make sure it's not specifically written for use with certain other contributions that you might not need/have. In the version 2.90b I have fixed a problem of import file. For to use this version you need to install this contribs: - Quantity Price Breaks for Separate Pricing Per Customer 1.02 - Separate Pricing Per Customer 4.11 - Extra fileds. if you don't have installed e checked this easy polulate don't work!!! It's specifically written for use ALONG with those other contributions. If you have those installed and need them, that's great, but if you don't - I would suggest turning back now and using a different version. Version 2.76 is OK for stock OSC, nothing extra is hard-coded into that one. It can be found somewhere near the top on the EP contribution page, where it says 'easy poulate is EASY, ...' choosealogin Posted June 21, 2006 Share Posted June 21, 2006 Rather than fill anything in the sample data file, it would be best to go to your admin panel > catalog > easy populate, then select Download Complete tab-delimited .txt file to edit Then use that file. If you have existing products that you don't need to edit, it is safe to clear them out of that file, then fill in your new products (EP doesn't have the capability to delete, anyway). If you don't have existing products, then just start filling it in :) I've never tried deleting columns, I normally just right click and "hide" w/excel. When I'm in the administration and browse the categories is says the DVD's has 2 products. But under the category I cant find anything. Where did the product go? Same thing is on the website.
