SEF URL's, cookies and shared SSL

Hi I'm looking for a solution to enable my site to index well on search engines.

 

I'm gathering I probably need to use a SEF contribution.. But from what I gather ALL of those need to force Cookie Usage....

 

I also gather that I cannot force cookie usage if I use a shared SSL?

 

So is there a solution to this problem? Basically I need to make sure my site index's well on google - is there a way of doing this without using a SEF URL contribution. Or is there a way of implementing a SEF contribution without forcing cookie usage?
