What I am looking for is a contribution (or a howto hint) making the catalog structure like the one used at shopping.yahoo.com. Once you go into a product category, on the sidebar you get options of properties of goods, like brands, sizes, price ranges, specifications. You drill them down and down and thus narrow your search.
