Small description about each product?

In Oscommerce web shop, when you choose a product category, there are shown all products in that category with Name, Manufacure, Price and Picture.

Is it possibly to add one more thing to eacjh product? Like a small descripion about it...

Like it is now you have to press on the product, and linked to its side to get any information about the product....

Please, if someone know how to do this?

There are several "short description" contributions to choose from here:

Personally, I like this one:

http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ort+description

...because it just uses a shortened (adjustable) products_description, instead of having to write a separate short description. You can display anything up to 200 characters with that one. There's a screenshot in the download package so you can see what it looks like.

The final step is to add the .sgl-file to the database...

log into your phpmyadmin, select the correct database from the dropdown on the left. Once it opens click on SQL on the right hand side top. Then just copy and paste the stuff on the sql file that came with the contribution and click go.
