rss feeds and product description

Recommended Posts

Hi

Sorry if this has been covered before, I had a search and couldn't find what I needed to know.

I'm putting this rss feed module into an instalation of oscommerce, and I'ld like it to show the product descriptions (or at least part of them) in the feed reader. I'm asuming the placing of the description goes in the file that was downloaded from that link round about here (where the blah's are):

	echo "
";
echo "
 blah blah blah blah blah blah Item Price: $price
";
echo "
";
$count++;
}
###################################################
# Finished looping, now close of the xml/rss page #
###################################################

And presumably something needs to call the info from the database. Other than that I'm not quite sure what needs to be put where. I've got a very basic knowledge of php, xml and mysql so any pointers would be apreciated.

Tia. More questions in the morning I expect. :thumbsup:
