Orders not emailing!!

When i go to make a transaction it emails the consumer but it does not email me letting me know that someone has just made an order does anyone know how to fix this or is there a thread that has to do with this type of problem.

I have the same problem, but you can get around it but adding your email address to the "send order info also to " (I am not in front of the config so this might say something slightly different). It's in the main config.

 

I think this is only a workaround though.

 

FYI: I am using Paypal IPN

i was having a problem that i wasn't getting bounces if someone registered a fake email (because of the welcome email), but this fix covered it, and it may work to solve your problem of people not getting their emails (i was also having a problem with this, and as far as i know everyone's been getting their updates and notifications).

Well, adding the email address in the config my store in your admin panel is not a workaround but where you actually state that you want the orders sent to you by mail at all.
