Cant access the admin page

1. I have install OS commerce via fantastico. I have asked my hosting company to include a php.ini in my domain root directory and now I am able to acess the main page (http://<domainname>) for my domain.

 

NB: (Formerly I have the "Server Requirement Error: register_globals is disabled in your PHP configuration. This can be enabled in your php.ini configuration file or in the .htaccess file in your catalog directory." error when accessin the main page. Its fine now after my hosting company included the php.ini in my domain root directory)

 

2. However I am still not able the access the admin page http://<domainname>/admin. I get the following error too:

Server Requirement Error: register_globals is disabled in your PHP configuration. This can be enabled in your php.ini configuration file or in the .htaccess file in your catalog directory.

Hi All,

 

1. Managed to access the admin page by copying the php.ini from my domain root directory into the domainroot/admin directory. Not sure if this is the way to solve the problem.
