FedEx account compromised...

I offer FedEx shipping but most of my customers go for the cheaper USPS. I can count on one hand the number of FedEx packages I've shipped.


It seems that FedEx doesn't notify the account owner when a package is shipped via email. If there is an account setting to turn that on I'd love to know about it.


I was surprised when I logged on to find a shipment that I didn't make, an express package for a $20 fee, shipped from a different state than mine to a receiver I don't know.


I found the dispute button and clicked it, and entered the meager 20 some characters that I was allowed.


5 days later I receive an email, "dispute denied".


Like a trooper I clicked that "dispute" button one more time, and entered the same 20 some characters.


5 days later I received and email, "Dispute Credited". (why not the 1st time?)


So all is well that ends well, but I'm not happy with the process. Perhaps it's time to "go Brown".
