Parsing problem when customizing OSC - Firefox VS. IE

Recommended Posts

I hope someone here can help me even though this is my first post. I've been modifying OSC, getting rid of some of the tables and such. I run into a problem where there always seems to be an extra "/>" or else the beginning of a tag is cut off when a page is rendered. I've been really careful not to mess with any of the logic, and only get rid of tables that are non-essential (I haven't messed with the infoboxes or anything). This happened to me once before when I was customizing an OSC setup for someone else. Is there a region of the code that causes weird rendering/parsing results to occur? I just can't figure it out. Here's an example of what happens (see how the table cell tag is cut off!):

				<tdI am a new customer.</td>

If I go to the source pages, all the code is intact. It's as if the browser is skipping over characters. Please, if anyone out there knows what is going on, I'd really appreciate it.
