Try this link in firefox and it shows the product images

http://www.bggiftsintl.com/infinity/produc...&products_id=40

...But in internet explorer, there is nothing

I'm not sure what to do. Is it a security setting? Is it a W3C standard issue?

This thread suggests that maybe my site is trying to use SSL. I do not have a SSL Cert, so I tried the solution but it fixes nothing.

http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?s=&...ndpost&p=849910

Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you all.

Well I just looked, the only image I didn't see showing was the "close.gif" image in the pop up window in explorer. But your products were showing just fine in IE. And Mozilla.

Woops, spoke to soon. I went to look at hosiery and see what you mean now. But someone just called, I'll poke at it a bit and see if I can see anything.

Ok, what contribution did you install? I found the error code on IE, but not sure how to help without knowing that.....

img src="images/" height="100" border="0" alt="Fishnet Backseam Panyhose" title="Fishnet Backseam Panyhose"></a> </td>

Thank you, Micholas.

I have STS and Image Magic installed and working. Do I need to put an absolute path to my images folder somewhere to fix this IE problem?

MoPics 6 is also installed. It allows for multiple images for each product... one of these contribs must be causing the issue.

path to my images folder

ok, do you have some kind of redirect script going on? if you click the link in either IE or Mozilla, it keeps trying to redirect you but never actually does.

this is what I get looking at your source....

<html>

<head>
<title>Infinity Fashion - Loading Page...</title>
<noscript>

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="1">

</noscript>

<script language="JavaScript">
<!--

var sURL = unescape(window.location.pathname);

function doLoad()
{
// the timeout value should be the same as in the "refresh" meta-tag
setTimeout( "refresh()", 1*1000 );
}

function refresh()
{
// This version of the refresh function will cause a new
// entry in the visitor's history. It is provided for
// those browsers that only support JavaScript 1.0.
//
window.location.href = sURL;
}
//-->
</script>

<script language="JavaScript1.1">
<!--
function refresh()
{
// This version does NOT cause an entry in the browser's
// page view history. Most browsers will always retrieve
// the document from the web-server whether it is already
// in the browsers page-cache or not.
//
window.location.replace( sURL );
}
//-->
</script>

<script language="JavaScript1.2">

function refresh()

// for browsers that support JavaScript version 1.2
//

// if the browser should retrieve the document from the
// web-server. In our example all we need to do is cause
// the JavaScript block in the document body to be
// re-evaluated. If we needed to pull the document from
// the web-server again (such as where the document contents
// change dynamically) we would pass the argument as 'true'.
//
window.location.reload( false );
}
//-->
</script>
</head>

<!--
Use the "onload" event to start the refresh process.
-->
<body onload="doLoad()">

</script>

<B>Please wait a moment... </b>

<i>If you are not returned, click <a href="<a href="java script:refresh()">Refresh Link</a> in your browser or press F5 to load the page.</i>

</body>

</html>

I think this is your problem, still haven't d/loaded the other contributions yet, but will if this doesn't help... look at this part of the code here...

 // This version of the refresh function will be invoked
// for browsers that support JavaScript version 1.2
//

// The argument to the location.reload function determines
// if the browser should retrieve the document from the

//

Oh, just saw this when I went to d/load MoPics 6

I was ripping my hair out trying to get this Contrib to work with image magic 1.13

http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,3770

. It was actually easy once i figured it out.

now you can have imagemagic watermark and do otherstuff to the popups and still have them work with morepics.

this is the line that needs to be changed in the popup_image.php of morepics

echo '<tr><td align="center"><img src="' . $img . '"></td>';

and it needs to be changed to

echo '<tr><td align="center">' .tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . $insert) . '</td>';

i have also included a full replacement to popup_image.php with code for next, previous and close buttons.

If you find this valueable please pm me and say thx. i know when i needed help nobody would help solve this.

Might want to check if that line is correct in your popup_image.php

I do have a redirect because i was getting 403 errors on popup images in IE. My workaroud is to simply reload the window and it works.

there is a contribution that helps with the buttons too, which I noticed one didn't show up in IE, the "close.gif"

I think he just updated a couple of files there, might help with that one too. I'm looking now through the MoPics contribution and so far, nothing else has jumped out at me. and in mozilla, your site just loaded a whole new page with the image but no real pop up window. that fix might help with that.

I'll try the button fix now. The popup_image.php seems to be okay, though. I believe I already applied that patch before.

do you have pics for all your products, like under hosiery? I notice in Mozilla, most are links.

But a few pics, where as IE is trying to display everything in pictures.

If not, check your admin settings, configuration, images, and set "image required" to false. If so... well dangit lol... I've looked at Image Magic now and nothing there either that I can see. STS is a template? I'm about to d/load that one next.

I just set Image Required = false

Good advice, that looks better.

I only uploaded product images for "Skull Tights" and one image for "Fishnet Thigh Highs with Backseam" right now.

The close.gif file was missing so I just uploaded one.

I do know that STS template require all image src to be absolute links, which I've done.

Thank you so much for your diligent help.

well if setting the configuration doesn't help in admin, you may want to make a "stock" photo and upload it for images you don't have yet. I think that is what your problem is. Not sure if I helped or not lol but you are welcome. :D
