Hi I have a stupid question that I dont know the answer to

I have seen things that ask for a version of PHP you use. where do I find that at ?? is it from my host service or is it the version of the PHP editor ? ?

Thanks for the help from the newbie.

Try this: copy the following and save it as phpinfo.php. Upload it to your web server, and point your browser to it. It should let you know your php version, and everything else about your php configuration.

<HTML>

<BODY>

<?php

phpinfo();

?>

</BODY>

</HTML>

Hope that helps.

Generally this is what your host offers (unless you have a dedicated server). Easiest way to see what you are running is to create a php file (something like test.php) and put the following in it

<?php
phpinfo();
?>

Then upload to your server and point your browser to it. Should give you loads of info including version number.

Btw - OSC comes with this in the admin section called "Server Info"
