if you post the catalog\includes\configure.php here erase the name/dbase/password

You should have something like

// define our database connection
 define('DB_SERVER', 'the_database_server'); // eg, localhost - should not be empty for productive servers
 define('DB_SERVER_USERNAME', 'the_username');
 define('DB_SERVER_PASSWORD', 'the_password');
 define('DB_DATABASE', 'the_database_name');
 define('USE_PCONNECT', 'false'); // use persistent connections?
 define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql'); // leave empty '' for default handler or set to 'mysql'

These 4 fields DB_SERVER_xxx are crtitical for your store's operation and must be correct.

And also check the server definitions and paths.
