fulltilt Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 Hi, I've just finished installing a test osCommerce installation on a Windows/IIS server and finally got around all the settings that needed to be changed. Now I find that it seems that anyone can edit the admin side of the application by going to http://www.mydomainhere.com/catalog/admin/ - is that right ? Should it be secured someway by default, or do I have to do it myself ?
bobg7 Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 You need to secure the admin section yourself, there are a few contributions for this or check your hosts control panel, there may be a way to do it from there. Installed Contributions: CCGV, Close Popup, Dynamic Meta Tags, Easy Populate, Froogle Data Feeder, Google Position, Infobox Header Entire Row, Live Support for OSC, PayPal Seal with CC images, Report_m Sales, Shop by Price Revised, SQL Updater, Who's Online Enhancement, Footer, GNA EP Assistant and still going.
