Hello guys,

Im new to oscommerce and have been playing with some templates lately.

I'd like to add a new page where it would call "home.php" and have this

as a default when they go to my store rather the index.php. I have been

playing with a quick solution here by doing redirection but this mess up evrything.

I know this can be done because I have seen this on one of the oscommerce site

that I happen to visit. and I thought it would be cool to have 2 different design

templates.

check it out here... http://www.canadianvoipstore.ca/home.php

If anyone know how to do this, please share some of your expertise here. I thank you everyone

for looking at my query. Thank you in advance once again!

regards,

sebastian :)

This would be the minimal page.

<?php
 require('includes/application_top.php');
?>

<!doctype html public "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
<html <?php echo HTML_PARAMS; ?>>
<head>

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=<?php echo CHARSET; ?>">
<title><?php echo TITLE; ?></title>
<base href="<?php echo (($request_type == 'SSL') ? HTTPS_SERVER : HTTP_SERVER) . DIR_WS_CATALOG; ?>">
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet.css">
</head>
<body marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" topmargin="0" bottommargin="0" leftmargin="0" rightmargin="0">

</body>
</html>
<?php require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'application_bottom.php'); ?>

Are you sure they didn't just rename the index.php page? If you try going to http://www.canadianvoipstore.ca/ or http://www.canadianvoipstore.ca/index.php, it just redirects to http://www.canadianvoipstore.ca/home.php, which is not something you want to have happen from an SEO perspective but tha is a different subject.
