Site address change to not include oscommerce

Recommended Posts

I uploaded the catalog contents to public_html and now my site isn't displaying or linking properly.

www.allthingscello.com

Are there additional files that I need to change?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Angelia

Yes, you'll need to edit:

catalog/includes/configure.php and

catalog/admin/includes/configure.php

In those 2 files, where you see references to your old /oscommerce/ directory remove that word "oscommerce"

so if you see something like

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/the/pathto/public_html/oscommerce/catalog/');

you would change that to

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/the/pathto/public_html/catalog/');

Notice it's the same, minus the reference to your oscommerce folder.

or another example. When you see

define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', '/thepath/to/public_html/oscommerce/catalog/admin/');

that would now be

define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', '/thepath/to/public_html/catalog/admin/');

There are others, just go through both files removing those references to the folder you eliminated.
