Guest
I'm just using the default PayPal module that came with Osc ... but I will check into that aggregate thingy you mentioned. (I'm so technical tonight .. "thingy" LOL). Another thing ... Is there a way to export or something a report of coupons to save into Excel, Word, or just to print? Am thinking down the road as part of accounting stuffs.
Guest
Ugh, having trouble where to find the "aggregate setting" - I remember seeing it at one point. Can't find it in PayPal modules in OSC admin nor in my PayPal account ... Can someone remind me where the heck that is? *grins*
Guest
Ok, I found the "aggregate" - in the PayPal IPN module that I have installed, but not enabled cause I can never get the stupid public keys and certs to work in live mode (can get the sandbox versions to work just fine in sandbox). Am I fine with just the default Paypal OSC module?
fred1677
Hi, I've tried this and got this when I click continue when checkout... Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class ot_discount_coupon in /hsphere/local/home/fred1677/westminsterjewelry.com/catalogincludes/classes/discount_coupon.php on line 16 I've also deleted the line in ot_discount.php but still did not work... djmoe20001
Hi KGT, I'm not the first, and almost certainly not the last to tell you how useful this module is. I'm still having trouble with the "FIXED DISCOUNT" coupons. If I create the a coupon and enter a fixed discount value, it changes it to a percentage and makes the minimum and maximum order values the same. I have seen scattered responses about this and possible solutions, but I can't seem to find a way round this. Are you going to post an updated and fixed version any time soon, or is there anyway someone can give me a quick fix for this? Many thanks! You can print the report to get this, though it's not in a good format for that. Quote Contributions Discount Coupon Codes Donations

Read the manual for more information about how fixed discounts actually work. The fixed discounts will change soon (with the next package I post). You've probably uploaded something wrong. I'm not sure. Class ot_discount_coupon is not defined in includes/classes/discount_coupon.php. davidell
Hmmm  I've been testing my site for a few weeks now, and this contrib has been working perfectly... until today. I added a second discount coupon code, this shows up in admin, however I am unable to edit/ delete? I receive the following error message: "406 Not Acceptable Not Acceptable An appropriate representation of the requested resource /catalog/admin/coupons.php could not be found on this server." I can still edit/ delete the first discount coupon code, but the new one which I need to change keeps giving me this error. Any thoughts folks? NancyL7
Hi, I just installed the Contribution. Nice! But, I'm having some problems.. I set the options and created a coupon. When I try to buy something, I get to the checkout_payment.php screen,.... and enter the coupon code. When I click the 'continue' button, it kicks me out to the login screen, and goes into an endless loop there.. I can't ever log back in without completely restarting the browser. Because I can't get to the next screen.. I can't debug what is kicking me out! (with my meager debugging skills). I wondered about this contribution working with the MVS contribution.. as the discount coupon code backs up to the MVS contribution changes in the checkout_confirmation.php code.. where, apparently, I'm having my problems. Can anyone help????? Thanks Nancy

His Shadow
Has anybody been able to integrate the discount contribution with PayPal IPN? I ask because I have added both and both work up to a point. I assume the table discount_coupons_to_orders gets updated every time a coupon is used so that when a coupon is redeemed by a customer, it's checked against the maximum number of times it can actually be used (minus how many times it's already been used in discount_coupons_to_orders). As a result, that table doesn't seem to get updated because of the PayPal IPN process (as I believe it bypasses the discount_coupons_to_orders table update in checkout_process.php) which means the coupon can be used forever or until it hits the coupons_date_end as it's use isn't ever recorded. After looking at this problem for the last few hours and trying to come up with a solution that works...my head hurts. Is there any solution? I would very much like to use this contribution, but without some sort of solution, I'll have to remove it as I need the PayPal IPN more than coupons. I apologize in advance if this question has been answered already, but I couldn't find a solution in the support thread for this contribution. Guest
Just an FYI - I have MVS installed (for many months) and have not seen a problem in conjunction with DCC. (I have roughly 12 vendors in my MVS).
Kina
I have installed this contribution, (2.1) and it works fine (thanks!!), except for one thing: If a customer had used his coupon, he can use it again, which should not be possible as the options are: "maxuse=1" and "available=200". I have read this topic but couldn't find a solution to this problem. I've installed the latest version of the contribution. Can anyone help please? Kina
I also found that the table discount_coupons_to_orders stays empty, even after ordering with discount-coupons. So this explains why I can use the coupons more than once, but I don't understand why the table stays empty.

If you don't see anything missing, email or PM your copy of the code for checkout_process.php. I think MVS changes order.php enough to make this install not as straightforward as an install on a stock store. Other than that, there should be no issues.
