Troulbe moving site: no output, no errors

Recommended Posts

I am moving my site from one host to another, as well as from a /shop/ directory to the root directory. I am getting no output and no errors from the site. I believe I have everything set correctly. Can anyone provide any insight into what I might look into??

What is highlighted in red is your problem. This should read the path to your index.php file. eg.; home/bikerperform/public_html

This is on a windows host. This worked on the previous host, which was also windows (although the path was different). I obtained this value via an ASP call to Server.MapPath("/index.php").

Can you tell me how I can find out what this path should be for a godaddy windows hosted account?

You're right about the windows deal, it's different.

You might do a search here for "godaddy". I hate to say it, but it could be a long night :'(

Seriously, though ...I've seen glimpses of many conversations about getting setup on godaddy. It is possible, I just don't have the answer for you. I'm sure the answer is here somewhere.

Good luck

According to godaddy:

PHP support for Windows shared hosting plans has been deprecated. This means any PHP scripts running on Windows hosted Web sites have been broken. Our Linux shared hosting plans support both PHP 4 and PHP 5. To migrate your Windows hosting account operating system to Linux, see Switching your hosting account operating system.
