So.. the problem is that i installed oscommerce in the main root directory... public_html*

This means there is no /catalog/ !!

However:

Module Directory: /home/abookfor/public_html/catalog/includes/modules/payment/

this happens when i go onto the modules and also when an image uploaded it trys to find the image to display from catalog/images and not /images/.

Is there any way that i can chage the directorys that oscommerce is looking in?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, in your two configure.php files ...

includes/configure.php

AND

admin/includes/configure.php

find the references to 'catalog' and remove the word catalog.

So if you see something like

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/the/path/home/yoursite/public_html/catalog/');

change it to

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/the/path/home/yoursite/public_html/');

another example (there is more to it, check the file)

define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/catalog/');

would be

define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/');

Just check through both of those configure.php files to make the necessary adjustments.

You can add GBP at admin>localization>currencies>new currency

Then check at admin>configuration>my store>switch to default language currency (mark it true)

Then go find the file: includes/languages/english.php and find the line that is something like,

Define Default Language Currency ...... fill in 'GBP' there (by default it probably says USD).
