browser cannot establish connection to site after enabling SSL

-I just got my SSL cert. Installed it following the issuer's instructions.

-I've made changes to configure.php file to enable SSL

When I browse the shop and click 'checkout',

- Firefox says " unable to connect"

- IE says "the page cannot be displayed"

in both browsers, the URL points to https://www.jannah.com/shop/catalog/checkout_shipping.php

what might i be doing wrong?

thanks

Try disabling your SSL in your configure.php and see what happens

-I disabled ssl (set 'ENABLE_SSL' to false in configure.php)

- I placed an order. Was able to login as a customer, complete the order, and get a confirmation email as a customer.

So it seems to work without a problem with ssl disabled.

thanks
