can actually be done a couple of ays one is to open /includes/boxes/categories.php

look for

$categories_string .= '<a href="';

change that to

$categories_string .= '>> <a href="';

If you want to have the >> be different a specific color you can make the style then add it to the code like this

$categories_string .= '<div class="catarrows">>></div> <a href="';

then add

.catarrows {color:#CC3333;}

to your stylesheet.css

try with this for double arrow:

$categories_string .= '» <a href="';

and you can also reduce or create a smaller font in your css.

I'm not that good at this stuff, but if I have a little image that I want to put there instead of the arrows, could I use

$categories_string .= '<a href="catalog/images/icon.gif';

or would I have to create a class for the image somehow (how?) and then use your second example?
