How can I use HTML in the opening page? Or how to customize it?

Hello,

I just installed osC, and I'd like to know how to change the index.php design. I'm really not an expert, I can make html pages only (like this: www.carrierbuilders.net.) Is there any way to implement the html code into this PHP file, or any way where I can visually edit it? I'd really like to change it, but I can edit the text only (in text mode), and cannot do any design.

Any help si appreciated!

Greetings, Zoltan

For HTML customisation, you might want to look into installing either the Basic Template System or Simple Template System contributions:)

Thanks, I downlaoded and installed. It's working, but I can't really do what I want. The opening page is okay, I added what I wanted to add, but I still have the same section on the further pages as well. I was trying to modify the index.php.html and the sts_template.html as well. Probaly I should so something else, but I don't really understnad the structure. Are there any visual explanations about the sections?

Greetings, Zoltan
