brandoneilers Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Hi Todd, having the same problem today. Are you on Ipower servers ? If you found a fix let me knowKevin It is a problem on the Ipowerweb end. They did this a couple months ago. They keep screwing with the PHP setup on their servers and it causes this to happen. Last time they told us there was nothing we could have done on our end to fix it. Gee...thanks! That makes me feel really secure to have all my hard work on your unreliable server. We are considering switching hosts, so I would also suggest the same to you. Make sure you can go in and browse your database tables though. They ended up damaging some of ours up, but eventually got them repaired. I also don't like how they just go in and funk with your files without letting you know. They changed my htaccess file to something else today. I was like, WHAT THE HELL!
globalcrafts Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 I switched to Ipower because I was so feed up with Doteasy. Where does one go next. I do like the fact that ipower publish a telephone number and do reply to emails, which is more than I got from Doteasy. Anyway Ipower emailed me to say they know they have a problem and are working on it. We shall wait and see. It is a problem on the Ipowerweb end. They did this a couple months ago. Guest Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 I started having this same problem around the same time everyone else did. I'm not on Ipower servers though, I'm on Netrillium, at least that's who I'm hosted through. I hope this gets fixed soon cause it's really making me mad. I hope my host finds and fixes this problem soon. =\
beisupplies Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 I had the same problem last week. I called ipower and they fixed it over the phone. It worked for about a week. Yesterday I started having problem with the database dropping information. Example: When updating a product and clicking save, all the informaition is deleted and you end up w/ a blank entry. Tried to restore it from the local one on my computer which works perfect. still same problem. I even tried to restore everything on the ipower server. Da nada.

Spoke with tech support at ipowerweb. They're having problems with one of thier servers and expect to problems to be resolved sometime today. I'm starting to wonder about ipower. They may be check but they come w/ headaches
