Lost control of td cell

Newb Mistake :-"

I was experimenting with the look of the store I am setting up. Like a fool I did not set aside a copy of the header php while I experimented (with 3 days left to finish this and a couple of other projects!!!). There is a new logo in the left hand "TD" cell and the three nav icons in the right hand "TD" cell. I had a back ground image in the right "TD" cell (worked fine).

While experimenting I somehow screwed up the code and the background image refuses to render (just renders as white!!!) :angry: I tested the situation by replacing the "background image="" with bgcolor="" to see if the color would work in the cell. It does!

I must be missing some niggling little thing here :'( any help is greatly appreciated. Below is the full header code as it stands right now.

The correct HTML for a background image would be:

background="images/title_bg3.jpg"

Not:

background image="images/title_bg3.jpg"

You are better setting it in the stylesheet and adding the class to the cell. That way, if you want to make a global change, you only need change one stylesheet rule, instead of every page you have the image.
