login/register and checkout problems

ok so i set up oscommerce. it's been smooth until this point. i've searched the boards a lot to avoid this topic but couldn't find any information. so my question:

 

from the home page (or subsiquent pages) when i click on the "log youself in" or the "create an account'' or the "checkout" links i get taken to a "The page cannot be displayed" page. i was thinking that maybe i deleted a related file or something but i can't figure out what is wrong. so any information would be awsome :)

You enabled ssl during the install - without having an ssl certificate.

 

Set enable_ssl to false in both configure.php files.
