Someone Please help - Path Names

I just renamed my store's file name from the default /osCommerce/ to my own file name (/IRC35/)and now I can't access the Admin panel. What's up with this? When I enter the admin address it gives the normal prompt asking for the username and password. The only difference is that it doesn't accept it, and just reprompts for the username and password again.

The reason I am so confused is because everything in the store works great. It's only the admin that's not coming up.

I went to configure.php and changed the proper paths. I did the same under admin's configure.php. Please let me know how to do this right?

Sounds like the paths specified in your .htaccess are no longer correct. You can either fix them in the .htaccess file (the one in the admin directory) yourself, or go into your webhost's control panel and re-protect the admin directory.

Yeah, that did it. Thanks. I went to the password area on my web server and updated it.

Now I have another question. I can't seem to figure out how to secure my admin area. Just like in the situation above, my store is secured and is working great, but I can't get the admin area to work properly even though I did the same editing of the configure.php file in the catalog/admin/includes folders as I did in the catalog/includes/configure.php file.

Any suggestions would be great.
