need help for a new guy

i am Andy from seattle, i was trying to set up an e-commerce site to pay for my college, i got a mac OX 10.3.9. i know bit about html and use dreamweaver, i could not set up the e-commerce work environment on my computer, mysql, php?? i don't know what i should install on my mac, which i should install first, how i should put them work together, etc... could anyone help me out step by step. thanks for taking time to help me out, this will help many people like me, thanks Andy

I think Mac has it's own built in Apache environment. If you are having trouble with that, you can go and get MAMP from this link:

 

http://www.mamp.info/en/home/

 

That will install everything you need, including phpMyAdmin.
