Guest Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 typically you use your host's instructions on how to password protect a directory and so you can lock down the catalog\admin folder. There are also contributions for osc to protect the admin.
mpiscopo Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 I think it's in the configure.php file, you'll have to look at that file to verify. Look at the version under the admin directory...
ozcsys Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 I think it's in the configure.php file, you'll have to look at that file to verify. Look at the version under the admin directory... The configure.php file does not have anything to do with protecting the admin. The default install of osC does not protect the admin this is something you need to do yourself. Most hosting control panels have a link that will allow you to set this up. Some do not so with those you will need to setup the .htaccess manually or use one of the contributions. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
