table rate shipping

i have entered this string for the shipping table.

 

0.15:1.00,0.45:2.00,0.7:3.00,0.9:4.00,1.25:5.00,1.5:6.00,1.75:7.00,25:8.00,1000:

10

 

but for some reason it always calculates the price as ?8.00 no matter what the weight.

 

anybody know why ?

ok, was a blonde moment causing this, i hadn't reduced the package tare rate from the default value (3)

 

EDIT

 

just had a quick thought, we ship some carbon fibre items which are very light, but large - and have to be sent by carrier, any way to have these listed at the correct weight, but set them (and only these products) to a flat rate shipping method ??
